At some point in history, someone decided that having an Amphibious car would be cool. Amphibious vehicles have been around since the 18th century, in the form of carriages and such. Over the years, the use and progress, technologically, of these vehicles has been targeted toward military purposes.

Despite the fact that the market for people who feel the urge to both drive a car and a boat at the same time is limited, some incredible vehicles and designs have been brought to civilian use. For tourist uses, for example, is the AmphiBus.

Still, rich people don’t want commoners with them when they hang out and travel. That’s why the next bunch of cars was developed.
