Those who fear heights are not rare and there are many of us who are morbidly afraid of bending down and looking from the balcony of a penthouse atop a skyscraper.
However, there are also others who like to take the heights as a challenge and literally climb walls in order to prove to the world they are not afraid of heights. It probably gives them a rush that most of us would never want to experience.
The Excalibur at the Klimcentrum Bjoeks (Bjoeks Climb Center) is the tallest climbing wall in the world.
It is located in the town of Groningen, The Netherlands, and measures over 121 feet. It is not only extremely tall but also has a sleek curve at 36 feet which makes scaling it really difficult. In fact, the curve allows climbers to try wall climbing in many different ways.
The Bjoeks Climb Center is known for similar walls and there are walls of varying heights. Beginners can try the wall that is curved at 45 degree angle.
